Dr. Senthil K. Nathan, CEO of the International Roll Ball Federation (IRBF), recently completed a productive five-day official visit to Jakarta, Indonesia, aimed at expanding the global footprint of Roll Ball and strengthening international partnerships.
During the visit, Dr. Nathan met with H.E. Dr. Yassir Mohamed Ali, Ambassador of Sudan to Indonesia, to discuss collaborative initiatives for the development and promotion of Roll Ball in Sudan.
A key highlight of the visit was the initiation of discussions with the Indonesian Sports Council regarding the possibility of Indonesia hosting the 2nd Junior Roll Ball World Cup, marking a significant step toward the country's emergence as a major destination for international Roll Ball events.
Dr. Nathan also held fruitful discussions with Mr. Erick Thohir, Minister of Youth and Sports of Indonesia, focusing on the growth of Roll Ball in the country and the formal registration of the Indonesian Roll Ball Federation.
The IRBF extends its appreciation to Mr. Shiyas Pallipattu Puthenpura Ummer, whose dedicated efforts and support were instrumental in facilitating the meetings and advancing the development of Roll Ball in Indonesia.
